I have specific stores that I always purchase certain items from each month.  Do you do the same thing?  Today, I am telling you what I absolutely must buy, every single month from the Dollar Tree.  You can buy them at other stores, but why would you when you can buy them there for $1.00?

These are things that I buy on a regular basis and know are a great deal.  It saves my family money.  And we all know that saved money means another adventure at our house.  Woo-hoo!

Here are the things I buy regularly at the Dollar Tree.

Kitchen Scissors

I love these.  You can put them into the dishwasher, and they will cut pretty much anything.  And when they finally wear out, I can replace them with a $1.00.

Minced Garlic

I used this stuff anywhere I would normally use a garlic clove.  1 teaspoon equals 1 garlic clove in my world.  And I didn’t have to peel and mince the garlic myself.

Minced Onions

This stuff has heavy rotation in my kitchen.  I use it on my homemade garlic bread, in soups, with my roast as it cooks, with scrabbled eggs when I don’t want to chop an onion.  The list could go on and on.

Baby Kosher Dill Pickles
We love these tiny Kosher dills.  Love them!  So I buy at least six every time I go in there.

Pencil Lead
Liv and Hayden both like mechanical pencils.  You absolutely cannot beat this price.

Gel Pens 0.5 mm
If you like a super fine point pens, look no further.  I love these.  The only complaint I have about them is, you cannot put the cap on the end of the pen.  It takes off that little section at the end, every.single.time.  Other than that I think they are awesome.
*Update: I love these even more!
They are awesome! And, you can put the cap on the end and not lose it.

Panko Breadcrumbs
We use this stuff almost every day.  I love it.  Question:  Why would I buy this exact brand, in this exact size at my local Food Lion for $1.79, when I can get it at the Dollar Tree for $1.00?  I wouldn’t.  The end.

Dark Chocolate Bars
GAH!!!!  There is no photo because they DON’T HAVE ANY.  And they won’t get anymore until closer to Christmas time.  Believe me, when they do get them in stock I’m going to buy an entire flat of them and stick them in the freezer.  Dark chocolate is a staple in Liv’s lunchbox.  I break these giant bars into sections and put a section each day into her lunch.  She loves them, and this makes them even more economical.  They also have this bar in Milk Chocolate, Caramel filled, and Raspberry filled.  Yum.

Tea
Tea is in heavy rotation at our house.  If you want to try something different, this is definitely the place to do it.  Up to 30 tea bags for $1.00 versus $3.79 – Yes!

Party Supplies
It’s very rare now that I would need party supplies, but when I did buy them, it was here.

Tissue Paper for gifts
I do still buy this tissue paper.  I use it when I ship delicate items as the first layer of protection.  Hot tip:  If you like Milk Glass, don’t ever wrap it in newspaper – the ink can transfer to the glass.

Gift Bags
When the kids were small, I always saved their birthday gift bags to reuse.  For YEARS I didn’t have to buy a birthday bag, but now when I need one, I get it here.

Birthday Cards
Cards of any kind $1.00.  No brainer.

Hard Candies
10 ounces of hard candies $1.00.  This one is a no brainer too.

Bonus:
Look at these.  They are magnetized on the bottom!  I filled these with my most used spices and stuck them to the side of my fridge.  For $1.00 each!  These are more than $3.00 everywhere else I’ve found them.
I used double sided tape and put these labels on the bottoms.  Perfect!
What do you buy each time at your Dollar Tree?

This is NOT a promoted post by Dollar Tree.  They have no idea that I wrote this post, I just always buy these things there!
