79 Things I NO Longer Need in My Home.

Searching through all of the hidden areas of my house has been eye opening.  We have a lot of storage space in our house.  There are three closets in just mine and Denton’s bedroom.  One of which is a walk-in.  Both of the kids have two oversized closets, EACH.  Then there are the linen closets and the bathroom closets and the laundry room and on and on and on, Amen.

Not that I am complaining.  But, those areas do tend to fill up with stuff that ordinarily would already have gotten the heave ho.  Here’s what I found that hit the donate box last week.

A sewing machine.  Seriously.  I forgot that I had it after I gave my Mother the sewing table it came with.  She turned it into a desk for the grandkids.  Two pitiful lamp shades and a basket I definitely don’t need anymore.

Liv uses her kettle every day and this green stove top version hasn’t been used in over a year, so it’s got to go.  The leather LL Bean bookbag is too small for anyone’s books.  The corn roaster turned out to be more trouble than it was worth (to me).  We have about 78 more to go cups and no one liked this one.  I also found out I don’t like votive candle tart warmers.  A random stuffed animal and a canister.

Here is the notorious throw that had to go.  A book that has served it’s purpose.

A bathroom set that I no longer need.

Liv has been cleaning out her closets…..

Aaaaahhhhh, the magazines!  Once we read them, I rarely keep them.

Whew.  I am still clearing out hidden corners at my house.  Did you clear out any of your clutter last week?  I am going again this week.  I love the freedom of clean spaces in my house!
