Walmart won our money this week. I posted this photo on my Instagram page yesterday with the caption “Grocery shopping. This is the one task I KNOW I’ll be hiring out when I win the lottery.” Because seriously!?! There is nothing I enjoy about it.
I don’t like trying to find a parking space, looking for a cart that actually functions properly ~ they never function properly, and I especially don’t enjoy dodging all of the family reunions taking place in the aisles. This is why you people have a front porch! Go home and visit there for all that is good and holy.
I also do not enjoy trying to put all the items in my car like a Tetris game, hauling it all out when I get home, schlepping it into the house and THEN putting it all away.
No thanks. If I have millions of dollars in my bank account you better believe I will pay someone to do that little task for me every week. I would rather be scrubbing my floors. And that’s saying something.
Here’s the breakdown of what we spent this week!
BTW: I adjusted the amount spent because we don’t eat wire baskets or flowers and I’m trying to keep a true account of what we are spending on food.
Walmart $ 100.90 Total spent for the Year: $864.04
- Got back this week: Got back for the year:
- ibotta $ $8.55
- Checkout 51 $ $0.75
- Receipt Hog 0 Coins 72 Coins
- Walmart Savings Catcher$ ? $?
The question mark for the savings catcher is because they still haven’t emailed me to tell me if I got anything back yet (which is very weird!). I’ll update this as soon as they tell me!
