The one and only Harper Lee’s birthday is today. She was born the same year as my Papaw Calvin and would have been 91 years old.
She wrote the timeless and iconic book To Kill a Mockingbird. It’s one of my favorite of all time books. I didn’t read this until Hayden did when he was in high school. I had no idea what I was missing.
If you’ve never read it, you should pick up a copy or borrow it from your local library, but RUN to get a copy from somewhere, and you won’t regret it.
