It was another filled to the brim week at our house. How about yours? School starting back always throws a wrench into everything, but I think we have our groove back. Annnd, school starting again means that fall will be here soon. Yay!
Here’s what I carved out time to read this week.
FICTION
Ready Player One by Ernest Cline
I truly enjoyed this book. I didn’t expect to. I don’t think that I would have ever picked it up, but Casey Neistat recommended it and I’m glad I didn’t let the plot deter me from reading it. It was great.
Seeing Red by Sandra Brown
I rate Sandra Brown up there pretty close to Nora Roberts. She doesn’t churn out near the amount of books that NR does, so I don’t read her as much anymore. But when I do, it’s a fun, easy read, which I prefer sometimes.
COOKBOOKS
Weelicious by Catherine McCord
Have you seen this cookbook yet? I picked up this copy from the library this week and I love it. She has some yummy looking recipes that I want to try. You should get yourself a copy of this one.
MAGAZINES
My magazines. You know my love of a real magazine. This week Country Living, Good Housekeeping, Eating Well, Better Homes and Gardens, Rachel Ray Every Day, Cosmopolitan and All Recipes are all $5.00 each for a year!
