Rain, rain, yes, rain.   I am loving it.  I need to move to a city that it rains in at least twice a week.  I have so missed the rain.  Perfect weather to curl up with a good book.  Too bad I’ve read really bad books for the past two weeks running.  BUT, I picked up one of favorite author’s at my local library a few days ago and it.was.awesome!

Here’s what I carved out time to read this week.

FICTION

Secrets in Death by J D Robb

A new J D Robb book!  Yay!  I love this series, it never fails to give me exactly what I want in a book.  Fast paced, great story line, excellent characters, and on and on.  It was awesome as always.  DO NOT START WITH THIS BOOK.  It’s book number 45.  Go back to the beginning and you won’t be sorry.

The Martian by Andy Weir

Since I read Secrets in Death in a day and half I needed a new book.  I knew that Andy Weir has a new book coming out in a couple of weeks that sounds amazing, and I had had this book on my must read list for a while, so I picked it up and started it.  We saw the movie with Matt Damon and really loved it, so I wanted to read this before I put Artemis on my must read list.  So far I am loving it.  It IS full of adult language if that bothers you, so something to keep in mind.

COOKBOOK

French:  Delicious Classic Cuisine Made Easy by Carole Clements Elizabeth Wolf-Cohen and Amanda Heywood

This.  This is an amazingly beautiful book.  I included the photographer above because she did an outstanding job.  I can’t wait to try out this sponge cake recipe.  Just look at it!  Divine.MAGAZINES

My magazines. You know my love of a real magazine. These are the ones that I had on my nightstand this week.

Martha Stewart Living, Rachel Ray Every Day, All Recipes, and Bon Appetit are all on sale right not for $5.00!  I love them.

By the way I love this purse!!
