What the Crocs!

img_3153Earlier this summer I ordered another pair of my beloved Crocs shoes.  This time I ordered my usual order of Athens II which I can’t live without since my self-diagnosis of Plantar Fasciitis several years ago.  You know, with my medical degree and all.  Something about those little nubby things and the design of the footbed massages that tendon when I wear these and makes it all better.

(Note:  I am not a doctor.  Anything you read here can be taken with a hill of beans as my grandmothers’ would say).

But seriously, is there anything on the market that makes that hideous pain go away better than these shoes?  If you know of something, please leave me a note in the comments so I can try it!

I also added a pair of Patricia MiniWedge Sandals.  I loved how they looked and when I received them, I loved how they felt and fit.  Until I left them in my car one afternoon.  I didn’t even notice this when I grabbed them and took them to my closet.

The next time I got them out to wear I thought I had accidentally grabbed a pair of Liv’s shoes.  She wears a size six most of the time.  I wear an 8 to 8 1/2.  I couldn’t even get my toes into the shoe.img_3158 I could not believe it.  You can see where the shoe has separated and pulled away from the outer portion and how greatly it has shrunk.  Visibly shrunk.

img_3154It never even crossed my mind to NOT leave them in the car for the day, but even if there was some type of warning about it (they are after all a type of plastic, right?) why did only ONE of them shrink?  They were together!

Very bizarre.  Very, very, bizarre.

If my beloved Sampson was still here, he would get a fun fetch it toy.  Oreo wouldn’t fetch if it was a Filet Mignon.  Herd it.  Yes, all day long if it was a sheep, cow, or a bunch of cats.  He loves to herd.

So, anyone out there need ONE size 8 Patricia MiniWedge?

Has something like this ever happened to you?
