We have started a new tradition at our house. Each Saturday night, one of us picks a movie and we all watch it together. Now, we have four different takes on the movie that we can talk to death. At our house, we all have very strong opinions. It also gives us an opportunity to see a movie we may not have ever watched otherwise. Have fun trying to figure out who picked which movie. Good Will Hunting. Have you seen it? I hadn’t. When Hayden asked if we would watch this as our Movie night movie, Denton and I both had to stop and think if we had actually ever watched it to begin with. Neither one of us had seen it. Can you believe that? I am thinking that it was such an iconic movie and it’s been talked about for so many years that we rationalized in our minds that we had seen it along with the rest of the world.
You know that I’m not going to give you any spoilers about the movie, just in case you’ve missed them all over the past 22 years, but I just want to put my two cents into the pot. Firstly. Robin Williams. There is nothing else I need to say to make you want to watch this movie. He was such an actor. There truly isn’t a good adjective to use for his skill. The world lost so much when he died.
The rest of the cast is superb too. I loved it and of course you should go watch it right now if you haven’t seen it. You won’t be sorry!
