I picked this book up at the library a few days ago and I read the entire thing in four hours. It was a good book and that’s all I’m going to say about it so that there are no spoilers for you. If you want an easy, quick read about a true story, you should check it out.
The Easy Asian Cookbook for Slow Cookers by Nancy Cho
I picked this beautiful book up at the library when I got Adrift and while it isn’t eye candy inside like I usually need, it has some delicious sounding recipes inside.
I cannot wait to try this! I love Lo-Mein. I usually get it with just veggies, but chicken can only make it better!
Slow cooker Chicken Teriyaki? Yes, please. Now I need to see if my ABC store stocks sake.
Liv asked me to buy lentils, oh, about 9 months ago, but I never made them because I’ve never cooked with lentils before. Now I have a recipe to try them out with!
Just look at that. That screams fall and winter to me. I can’t wait. And I can’t wait to try this out.
Yum.
Sink Reflections by Marla Cilley – The FlyLady
You can tell that I haven’t been standing in many lines this past month, can’t you. This is still my current “Purse” book. Have you ever heard of the FlyLady? I have followed her for YEARS. The book is great. It’s full of useful information and great tips. My problem is: I love reading books about cleaning and organizing and I DON’T love actually doing the cleaning and organizing. Sigh. Now I just need to implement everything I’m reading.
I have also been reading from my giant pile of magazines. If you want to start your own magazine pile, all the ones below are on sale right now for $5.00! I love them, I’m sure you will too!
That’s all I’ve got for now. What have you been reading? I’m always looking for a new book!
