I almost always get my Christmas shopping done early. Are you like this? Or are you like my brother, my husband and my Daddy and are frantically buying over priced toasters on Christmas Eve? It gives me heart palpitations to wait until the last minute. It’s the control freak in me. I need to be prepared, people!

I actually Christmas shop all year long while I’m at yard sales and thrift shops. Sometimes, though, you need something that you haven’t found during the yearly shopping and that’s where Amazon saves the day.

I love that I can do my shopping without stepping foot in a mall, more heart palpitations, and my UPS man will bring it to my doorstep.

I decided to write this series of posts to show you that you don’t have to break the bank at Christmas time. There are so many options available to us now. But as always, shop your local thrift stores first!! Your wallet will thank you. And you’ll be surprised at what you will find.

Do you have trouble buying gifts for your Dad at Christmas? If you’re like me, your Daddy needs absolutely nothing, which makes him very hard to buy for. Here is a great list of things that should please him and all of them are priced $10 or less!

First of all, you can never go wrong with t-shirts!

Does your Dad work with his hands? This stuff is awesome.

My husband absolutely swears by this stuff.

I always take my Daddy some type of snack foods. He LOVES Wasabi peas.

Or Jerky.

Or Salsa!

Do you have teens or tweens on your Christmas list? I have a whole slew of them. And they are incredibly difficult people to buy for. Here is a great list of things that should please most of the crowd, and all of them are priced $10 or less!

Books. Books are always on my shopping list.
