This week I gathered up 100 items that we no longer need and carted them out to the car to donate to our local Salvation Army. Here’s what I found.
Aaaaahhhhh, the magazines! 36 magazines. Once we read them, I rarely keep them.
A book in German that no one has looked at in over 5 years. A photo book that apparently I was too busy raising kids to use.
A milk glass lamp that doesn’t have it shade. Another magazine holder, a green dish, 8 small milk glass bowls, a singing Wizards of Waverly Place pen, two pair of fingernail/toenail clippers that I don’t like. A hair-bow from wayyyyyy back. Stickers. A food network glass cutting board. I hated that thing! A kindle charger, another green dish and an extra rice cooker. Five thumbprint punch bowl glasses and a set of magnetic Espanol/English poetry words.
Golf shoes, four scarves, and two floor registers that don’t fit our floors. A necklace, two bottles of makeup that I didn’t like and 10 pencils that I couldn’t bring myself to throw away. Seven green glasses, a makeup brush and a candle jar.
A dart that goes with the set I donated a few weeks ago (it’s still there – I checked) a lip gloss that Liv didn’t like, and a large orange basket.
Five pair of workout pants, and three bras that I hated after I bought them.
Whew. I am still clearing out hidden corners at my house. Did you clear out any of your clutter last week? I am going again this week. I love the freedom of clean spaces in my house!
