Did you find any treasures last week?  I found a few.  Here they are.

Another Eric Carle book for my collection ($0.50).  A lovely copy of Betty Crocker’s Big Book of Bread, yum, for $0.99.  And last but not least a copy of Food Networks Making it Easy ($1.99).

Is there anything on earth better than a crisp, new planner?  I love planners.  They make my life complete.  Or at least more manageable, which is a must for a control freak like me.  I found this one at our local Salvation Army last week for $0.79.  Yes, I know that the year is 2002 on the front of this baby.  But it is perfect inside.  It’s the perfect size!  It has everything I want in a yearly planner.  Month at a glance, with space for what bills have been paid.  Check.  Week at a glance, check.  Did you know that the calendar year aligns itself every few years.  This 2002 planner will work perfectly for 2019.  So, for 79 cents I have my planner for 2019, which will be here way before I’m ready.

Scissors.  Are there ever enough scissors at your house?  Not at mine, so if I find awesome one’s like these, for $0.89, I grab them up.

Raphael.  My nephew is bonkers over Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles right now, so he is going to flip over this one.  $1.59  Woo-hoo!

I am a firm believer in the things you surround yourself with, you should love.  Even the mundane and useful things.  This pretty little thing is going to replace my plain Jane jar that holds my wooden spoons.  Happiness.  It’s easy sometimes. $1.59.

So, for $8.34 I am very happy with my purchases.  What treasures did you find this week?
