Whiplash. Have you seen it? If you are thinking to yourself, “I can’t believe that this is a movie that Tracie would pick out to watch on a Saturday night”, you would be exactly right. Denton had already seen this one, but it was on Hayden’s list and Denton is always up for re-watching an excellent movie. And this movie was absolutely fantastic.
You may also be thinking, how in the world can a movie about a guy playing the drums be fantastic? Well, it’s a little more in depth than that, firstly. Second, the cast is phenomenal, and I mean that, phenomenal. If that isn’t enough to entice you to watch it, the music in this film is unbelievable. I watched the trailer again while I was writing this post and it seriously made me want to watch the whole movie again right then. It’s that good.

Caveat: This film is NOT appropriate for the little people’s eyes and ears that live in your house. I’ll let you decide what constitutes a little person in your own household. I always hesitate to tell anyone what is an appropriate age to see certain things, but this movie is rated R for a reason.
