Here are a few of my favorite things this month!
1) Real Techniques brushes.
I am not a huge lover of makeup or the process of putting it on, but I dabble sometimes. I watch a few different vloggers on YouTube and right off the bat I noticed that they use brushes to apply their foundation and concealers. I thought “How crazy! Why would you waste more of your product on a brush – just use your fingers”. But what I discovered is that you waste less by using the brushes because your fingers absorb more product and the brushes don’t. I suppose this is why I am not a makeup blogger, huh! I love these!

2) Cat carrier

How many people does it take to stuff multiple cat’s into ONE cat carrier? You really don’t want to know. Just because three cats’ will fit into one carrier doesn’t mean you should put them all into it. Don’t ask how I know. Isn’t this one adorable. I got it at the Goodwill for $2.99. Awesome!
3) Step stool (yard sale)
What happens when you decide to remove your kitchen table and chairs to the den downstairs for a poker/game table permanently? You have NO way to get things out of your upper cabinets without your almost six foot tall husband in the room. We are loving the table downstairs and no one ever sat at it while it was in the kitchen (I have since put in more cabinet’s – I’ll try to get a post up about it soon), but that took away my short self’s access to the upper cabinets. Love this stool!
4) Clinique makeup remover

I bought this baby at a yard sale early this summer for $0.25. Woo-hoo!! This stuff is amazing. It is amazing what people will sell in a yard sale unopened for a quarter!
5) Wet brush
I hate, hate, hate, to brush out my hair. I wonder how I would look in dread-locks? I don’t think my family wants to find out. I have really thick hair and my daughter has fine curly hair. And we both LOVE this brush. It is amazing. My niece came to visit this summer and she said I LOVE this brush, it doesn’t pull my hair at all (She’s six). My mother said “I really can’t tell that it’s any different than any other brush”, and I said, “But it’s not your hair”! Love it. I just bought both my nieces one for Christmas.

6) Contigo stainless steel water container
I have started trying to drink more water throughout the day and this is one of the ways that I can keep track of it. This container hold exactly 16 ounces. Cool!
