I Am Mother.  Have you seen it?  I think the easiest way to explain what this movie is about is to show you the tag line:

In the wake of humanity’s extinction, a teenage girl is raised by a robot designed to repopulate the earth. But their unique bond is threatened when an inexplicable stranger arrives with alarming news.

The reason that their bond is threatened is that the young girl believes that she is the only human left alive on earth.  So yeah, a stranger, another human being showing up would sort of threaten everything that you had been taught to believe.

I actually thought that this movie was pretty fascinating.  The acting was great, the story line was interesting, so overall not a bad way to spend a couple of hours on a Saturday night.

Do I believe it’s going to win prizes?  Nope.  But still, highly entertaining.  Even with all the jump scares…..
