Sometimes I just want a book that I know is going to quiet my mind. Do you ever feel like this? I love this set of books and I have read them over and over for years. So this week, I’m going to lose myself in Laura’s world. I’m glad that I don’t live there, but I do love it.
I am all for simplifying my life, but I seriously love my electricity and running water. Pa was a genius though, in my opinion. He reminds me of my Daddy. He is a genius too.
Would you want to live back in the day, or are you addicted to all of the amazing things we have now, like flushing toilets and traveling from the east coast to the west coast in under six hours? I’ll stay right here in the now and just transport myself to Laura’s and other world’s through books, thanks.
My new purse book.Â
Purse book: A book I keep in my purse at all times to read while I am standing in lines. It keeps me off of Facebook and I might actually learn something useful in the process.
by Gary Chapman
I ‘m picking this book up from my library today. Have you read it? I haven’t, but I’ve heard excellent things about it. There are a LOT of these books now, ones for children, men, single’s, teenagers and more. I’m interested to see what I think about this one.
I am always reading from my giant pile of magazines.Â
If you want to start your own magazine pile, all the ones below are on sale right now for $5.00! I love them, I’m sure you will too!
That’s all I’ve got for now. What have you been reading? I’m always looking for a new book!
