I picked up this book when Hayden and I did our last book haul. I am just now getting to this one. The premise behind the book is fascinating and I hope it lives up to the hype. Have you read it? Did you love it or hate it?

Another cookbook from my overflowing home of cookbooks. When I can’t think of what I want to make for supper, I sit down and “read” one of my hundreds of cookbooks. It usually doesn’t help me to narrow down what to make for supper that night, but it makes me happy, nonetheless.
Everything about this recipe makes me want to go bake right now. I have everything I need, except deep freeze temperatures outside. It’s a toasty 92* outside here with the realfeel of 97* and the thought of turning on my oven makes me sweat to just think about it. Come on fall, so I can bake!!!
This is a lovely cookbook and if you can get your hands on one, you’ll be happy, I promise.
Sink Reflections by Marla Cilley – The FlyLady
You can tell that I haven’t been standing in many lines this past month, can’t you. This is still my current “Purse” book. Have you ever heard of the FlyLady? I have followed her for YEARS. The book is great. It’s full of useful information and great tips. My problem is: I love reading books about cleaning and organizing and I DON’T love actually doing the cleaning and organizing. Sigh. Now I just need to implement everything I’m reading.
I have also been reading from my giant pile of magazines. If you want to start your own magazine pile, all the ones below are on sale right now for $5.00! I love them, I’m sure you will too!
That’s all I’ve got for now. What have you been reading? I’m always looking for a new book!

You have shared images of some very lovely bookish jewelry!
And I love the idea of a purse book, but I think I suffer from the same affliction that you do: I’d much rather read about cleaning and organizing that actually to do it!
Thanks! It’s a conundrum, isn’t it, hahahahaha!
I love Jane Eyre and the jewelry concepts are so cool! I read Jane Eyre a couple of times as a teenager it was that good. I didn’t like the movie so much. I’m now following you on Twitter and Instagram.
Wow! You’ve been working on that purse book for a while now! 🙂 I love the bookish jewelry you shared as well! Thanks for linking up at Booknificent Thursday on Mommynificent.com!
