I quickly ran into our local library yesterday to drop off our load of weekly books and saw this on the shelf and grabbed it up.  I have high hopes for it.  I am going to keep telling myself that, so that I don’t get frustrated and heave this heavy book across the room.  That wasn’t nice was it?  I really want this to be a great book.  I think she is an excellent writer and storyteller, but she has a tendency to veer off the path sometimes.  Please don’t let my opinion stop you from picking this series up though!  I love the storyline she has created.  It’s fascinating, and engrossing, which I love.  We shall see!  Have you read any of the books in this series?  What did you think?

Be thrifty has been my Purse book for the past month and I have to say – You need to pick up this book!

Be Thrifty…not cheap!

It is stuffed and I mean stuffed with useful information.  I am truly enjoying reading this one.

Another library find.  I have no interest in following whatever type of diet this book promotes, but the photos of the recipes are amazing.  I love good tasting food and some of the recipes make me want to try them, so I think I will!

Yum!

I am always reading from my giant pile of magazines.   I just discovered that my local library would like them when I am finished with them.  My librarian said that if it isn’t something they normally carry, they can put them out for people to check out, without adding that cost to the coffers.  I never even thought of that, so check with your local library if you discard your magazines like I do.  I normally send all of mine to the Salvation Army, but this way even more people will get use out of them!

If you want to start your own magazine pile, all the ones below are on sale right now for $5.00!  I love them, I’m sure you will too!

  1. I just finished a fun Kindle collection called Out of the Blue Bouquet. It was a fun concept in that the author’s actually tied the books together loosely but you didn’t find out how they fit together until the last book. Thanks for sharing what you’ve been reading at Booknificent Thursday on Mommynificent.com!
