French toast from Liv’s birthday breakfast

Hello again.  This part of my blog has suffered for the past few weeks.  Life never stops interfering with my plans.  But, that’s a good thing, because it means I’m still alive.

To help me keep track of myself, and to keep in keeping with the name of my blog, I’m going to put down here what we ate last week and my plan for this week.  Here we go!

Monday, January 2:  I have no idea.

Tuesday, January 3:  I still have no idea.

Wednesday, January 4:  Again, no idea.

Thursday, January 5:

  • Hamburgers
  • Chips
  • Pickles or giardiniera.  I love the Mezzetta brand.

Friday, January 6:  China House.  Our local Chinese restaurant.  It is delicious.  What do you usually order?  Here’s what we got.

  • General Tso’s Chicken
  • Beef and Broccoli
  • Cheese Wonton’s
  • Chicken Teriyaki
  • Vegetable Lo Mein
  • Egg Rolls

Saturday, January 7:

  • Steak and shrimp
  • Baked Potatoes
  • Salad
  • Rolls

Sunday, January 8:

  • Spaghetti
  • Fettuccine
  • French bread Garlic Bread in the oven

Monday, January 9:

  • Corn dogs with mustard
  • Steamed broccoli
  • Chips and dip
  • Pickles or giardiniera.  I love the Mezzetta brand.

Tuesday, January 10:

  • Potato Soup
  • Bacon
  • Biscuits

Wednesday, January 11:

  • Soup beans with Cornbread
  • Sauerkraut with Polish Sausages
  • Rice and beans
  • Salmon Bombs
  • Roasted Vegetables

Thursday, January 12:  Today is our by-annual dentist appointments to have our teeth cleaned for the whole family, so it’s going to be simple!

  • Various sandwiches – grilled cheese, tuna, BLT, etc.
  • Soup – Tomato, Chicken noodle, etc.

Friday, January 13:

  • Homemade Pizza
  • Salad

Saturday, January 14:

  • Chili and grits
  • Corn chips (have you ever tried dipping corn chips in your homemade chili?)

Sunday, January 15:

  • Leftovers from the week!
