One of the best things, in my opinion, about yard sales and thrift stores are the books.  We love books at our house and we buy a LOT of them throughout the year.  But, I don’t want to go broke; ergo, yard sales and thrift stores.

If you are worried that the authors are getting the shaft when you buy a used book, here is an excellent article about buying used versus new.  And yes, we still buy new books too.  Who doesn’t love stepping into a Barnes and Noble?  The smell alone draws me in, just like a library.

Hello again!  I am finally getting to our March book haul.    And it’s only the middle of April.  Woohoo!  We found some real gems and I can’t wait to read every single one of them.  I need more hours in my day…..

Let’s get into it:

This is my absolute favorite find in March.  Hayden and I found this at the bins.  The bins are where all of the items for sale at your local Goodwill go to die.  It’s an amazing book and I can’t believe that it ended up there.  It’s huge!  We just sit and flip through it’s pages.  Awesome!
