I take a lot of photos during the week.  At current count there are over 7,000 pictures on my phone.  I know.  Anything that catches my eye that I think is interesting, or just a memory that I’d like to keep.  However, they usually sit in my phone and no one sees them except me and my immediate family; when I force them to sit and look at them with me occasionally.  I do share some of them on my Instagram, in case you’d like to follow me over there.  Anywho, I thought that I would give myself a sort of week in review to look back at.  Who knows, maybe this is something I will actually remember to do each week for once!

Here is a peek into our week, in no particular order:

Denton and I had to make an unavoidable trip into the city for the entire day.  I think we were pretty clever with our time, avoiding all the humans.

Isn’t this the coolest thing?  You can air up your tires, or tighten a ….. something on your bike all at once.

We have a white oak in our front yard and its leaves turned in October.  I was fascinated to see that this red oak still had GREEN leaves!  But the one right next to it didn’t.  Why?  These are the things that I think about in the middle of the night.

Someone was sharing the Christmas spirit with the general public.

We saw these everywhere.

Lunch in a little public park.  The Mellow Mushroom is amazing.  We’ve loved it every time we’ve eaten there.  Or in this case, eaten it at a little park we never knew was there while it was 40* degrees outside.  The jalapeños kept us warm, along with the sun.

This stuff is so pretty.  But it clings to everything.

I did some decluttering of things that needed to go….

More things that we don’t use anymore.  Do you still use CD’s?  I still have all of ours, but we are firmly on the Apple Music train now and I won’t go back.

We woke up to snow on Christmas morning!

Patiently waiting for his present…..

Another rope to add to his collection.  Why yes, that is dog hair all over his ottomans.  Dog tip:  if you don’t want to vacuum your little 100 pound prince’s ottomans everyday – do NOT get a Bernese Mountain dog.  He sheds like he doesn’t want to be covered in fur.  But he is goofy and he loves us to bits.  And so I vacuum.  A LOT.
