It was another busy, busy week. I try to keep our busy-ness to the bare minimum. That’s how I like it. Being home with the people I love most. The time is coming when our house will be empty of our most loved people so I am savoring it. Denton and I have been so very blessed that our kids actually want to spend time at home.
Because once they move out, I know. They will still come home, but it will never be the same. Different and good, but never the same.
On with the food, here’s what we ate last week.
Monday – April 23
- Taco’s and bean burritos
- Chips and salsa – What’s your favorite salsa? Mine is Newman’s Own Pineapple salsa. I LOVE that stuff. No one else in my house can stand it, so I get to eat it all myself!
Tuesday – April 24
- Papa John’s Pizza
Wednesday – April 25
- Leftovers!
Thursday – April 26
- Spaghetti and Fettuccine
- Garlic bread
- Giant salad
Friday – April 27
- Out of town – We had dinner at Mission BBQ, it was good! They have ribs. Do you know how many “BBQ” places do not serve ribs? It’s crazy. Ribs are not my favorite though. I love brisket. (not an affiliate link, just good bbq if you are looking for it)
Saturday – April 28
- Out of town
Sunday – April 29
- Hamburgers
- Chips
- Giardiniera and pickles
- Raw onions and tomatoes
What did you eat last week? What are you going to eat this week?
