What’s for Supper? Weekly Meal Plan 05.07.18

It was 90* at my house one day this past week.  This does not make me happy.  Thankfully, more spring-like temperatures are here – it was 64* today and the rest of the week looks about the same or in the very low 70’s.  Which is just where I think it should stay until September.

I am seriously thinking of putting a ceiling fan in my kitchen.  My last kitchen had one and I miss it.  No matter what we set the air on, if I turn on my oven, it automatically ratchets the kitchen temps up to fire and brimstone levels.  Unless I want to cook every single meal on the grill – which is on its last legs, or the crockpot, I’m going to have to do something.

Do you have a ceiling fan in your kitchen?  What’s your opinion on the matter?  Resale value is always hovering in the back of my mind, but I can always take it down when we sell our house in the hazy future.  Light fixtures are easy.

  • Soup Beans with rice or corn bread
  • Roasted cauliflower, onions, broccoli, and potatoes
  • Fried salmon

Wednesday – May 2

Thursday – May 3

  • Corn dogs
  • Onion rings
  • Fruit – apples, blueberries, and strawberries

Friday – May 4

  • Papa Johns Pizza

Saturday – May 5

  • Leftovers from the week!

Sunday – May 6

  • Bacon, lettuce, and tomato sandwiches on toast
  • Chips
  • Fruit – raspberries, black grapes, and blackberries
