What’s for Supper? Weekly Meal Plan 06.11.18

How is your summer going?  I wish it was still Spring, but if wishes were horses……

Things are a bit crazy at our house right now.  Denton is working horrific 90+ work weeks at the moment, which means that all of us do not sit down to eat together – even if it’s in front of the TV – which makes me NOT want to cook at all.  Add in the factor of the summer heat, even with my new to me ceiling fan in the kitchen, turning on the oven is a mind-numbing thought.  All of that to say I only actually cooked twice this past week!

Here’s what we ate.


Monday – June 4

  • Hamburgers
  • Chips
  • Pickles, raw onions and tomatoes
  • Cantaloupe

Tuesday – June 5

  • Leftovers!

Wednesday – June 6

  • Papa Johns Pizza

Thursday – June 7

  • Leftovers!

Friday – June 8

  • Soup and Grilled Cheese

Saturday – June 9

  • Soup beans with cornbread or rice
  • Salmon
  • Roasted potatoes, onions, cauliflower and broccoli

Sunday – June 10

  • Whatever you can find!  Hayden had Ramen with a snack plate of blueberries, cashews, sharp cheddar cheese and pretzel chips.  Liv had toast with Almond butter and banana’s, chips and a snack plate the same as Hayden’s.  I pulled out bean and cheese with onion burritos that I had made earlier this month and stashed in the freezer.  Yum.
