What’s for Supper? Weekly Meal Plan 07.02.18

After we got back from vacation, I didn’t make out a menu for the week and you can absolutely tell from what we ended up putting in our bellies.  I always need a plan.  I might change it on a whim, but it still gives me a guideline.

Here is what we ate last week:

Monday – June 25

  • Our favorite Italian restaurant.  We didn’t actually eat out.  We order the food, one of us goes to pick it up, and we eat at home.  Is this how you eat out at your house?  We are all introverts to an extent and everyone would rather be home than in a noisy restaurant.

Tuesday – June 26

  • Sandwiches of various sorts

Wednesday

  • Soup beans with rice or cornbread
  • Salmon
  • Roasted onions, broccoli, and potatoes

Thursday

Friday

  • Whatever you can find.  Some days are like this.  I worked on our wood floors all day Friday and told everyone to look until they found something they might want to put in their mouth.  Do you ever do this?

Saturday

  • Chinese food!  More wood floors, and Chinese food is one of my favorites.

Sunday

  • Leftovers.  I was still – STILL – working on the living room floors.  I am finally nearing the end though.  Hopefully this week we can sit down and have an actual conversation in a room that looks like it should.

I only ended up cooking twice this past week.  But with temperatures as hot as blue blazes on some days, who wants to cook?
