We are finally inching our way to FALL you guys.  Yesterday our temperatures didn’t get out of the sixties and it rained for part of the day, so I am a happy girl.  My weather forecast is showing only one day that gets above 80* this week, woohoo!

Now that I can actually pretend that it’s already fall, I want to bake all of the things!  This weekend I baked brownies, because Denton asked me to.  That’s a big deal since he’s eating a Keto diet right now.  So when you see my baked potatoes down below, know he isn’t having any.  He has more willpower than I do.

My philosophy is that I can eat whatever I want – in moderation.  Which means that I can’t have nine brownies like I want every day, but I can have one.  Since I’ve acquired this newfound knowledge, I’ve lost 13 pounds.  Imagine that!  If you eat less food you will weigh less, lol.  I also discovered that I will not actually die if I introduce exercise into my life, so we’ve been hitting the trail three or four times a week.  Anywho, here is what we ate last week in no particular order:

A giant salad with dried cranberries.  I love the sweet/tartness that they give it.

A copy-cat McDonald’s McGriddles recipe that was a total bomb.

Ribs, corn on the cob and baked potatoes.  Oh wow.  These turned out great.  I’ll post the recipe later this week.  They are so easy!

Brown butter fried onions, one of the sides I made for Liv.  I’ll post the recipe later, but this was absolutely amazing.

Have you ever had broccoli sautéed with butter and garlic with a splash of lemon juice at the end?  If not, click on the link for the recipe.  You can thank me later.  I can literally eat just this for my supper.

We tried a new recipe for cauliflower buffalo wings.  They are so, so good.  They aren’t chicken wings, but if you want a substitute, these are really good!

What did you eat last week?  What are you going to eat this week?  Inquiring minds need to know!
