This past week absolutely flew by.  We had my oldest nephew with us all week and we are adding my oldest niece this week, which makes my heart happy.  I ask every year if they want to come and stay for a week in the summer.  This year Maximus said yes to two weeks.  Elle had camp so she is only with us for one week.  I hope they never say no.

My parents, my brother and the youngest two were added to the mix for the weekend, my house was full and I couldn’t be happier.  If I had my way they would all be with me all the time.

We played in the creek, walked and biked on the trail, sat around the fire pit and it was heaven.

I always stress out about what we are going to eat when my house is full.  But, this time, it was easy and wonderful.  We kept it simple and it was delicious.  I hope they all thought the same.

Here is what we ate last week:

Monday – July 23

  • Hamburgers
  • Chips
  • Pickles, raw onions and tomatoes

Tuesday – July 24

Wednesday – July 25

Thursday – July 26

  • Mexican!  We ate out at our local Mexican restaurant and it was delicious.

Friday – July 27

  • Taco night!
  • Quesadillas

Saturday – July 28

  • Pulled pork on bun
  • Chips
  • Corn on the cob
  • Potato salad
  • Macaroni salad

Homemade food is soooo good.  I’ll try to get the recipes up for all of this yumminess.

Sunday – July 29

  • Leftovers!  I am so thankful to have an abundance of food in the fridge so that I didn’t have to turn on my oven.  Yay!

What did you eat last week?  What are you going to eat this week?  Inquiring minds need to know!
