Hello again!  How are you this week?  I am still recovering from the last weekend.  Liv’s graduation happened, we had a houseful of our people and I discovered that I am too old to sit for two hours in the broiling sun…..Especially if there isn’t an ocean four feet away from my feet.

The graduation was lovely; I truly enjoyed the principles speech, the Valedictorians speech was awesome, but I have to actually say that the rest of it I could have happily done without.  At the beginning of the Salutatorians speech, she said “We all know that the real reason you are here is to watch someone walk across this stage”.  And she was exactly right.  I don’t think there was one single person in that crowd who was there to listen to the Superintendent of Schools talk for fifteen minutes….. 🙂

Anywho, here’s what we ate for the last two weeks:

Monday – 13th  Hamburgers, chips, and pickles

Tuesday  – 14th  Wendy’s to save my sanity

Wednesday  – 15th  Chicken enchilada’s with Mexican rice

Thursday  – 16th  Leftovers, yum

Friday – 17th   Stouffer’s Lasagna, salad, garlic bread, and dessert, dessert, dessert

Saturday – 18th  Grilled chicken, baked potatoes, broccoli with lemon and garlic, garlic bread and more desserts

Sunday – 19th   We made a giant breakfast Sunday morning – gravy and biscuits, sausage, eggs, fruit, and homemade cherry/guava jelly and cane syrup from Denton’s daddy.  Also, when your Mama makes her delicious homemade biscuits, it’s important to tell her that your flour is AP flour and not Self-rising flour.  It makes a difference in how high her biscuits will rise….They were awesome anyway and we all loved them, but I still felt terrible.  We had leftovers for supper that night.

Monday – 20th  Our favorite Italian restaurant.  Liv stayed home and we brought her food back.  It was her party, so she could do what she wanted, hahahaha.

Tuesday – 21st  Potato soup, bacon in the oven and biscuits

Wednesday – 22nd  Taco’s, chips and salsa and burritos

Thursday – 23rd  Leftovers, yay!

Friday – 24th  Soup beans, roasted veggies, Mac and cheese, salmon and rice

Saturday – 25th Chicken wings, raw veggies and dip and chips

Sunday – 26th  Papa John’s pizza, yum!

What’s for supper at your house?  What are you going to eat this week?
