Last week was a whirlwind of a week.  I spent the day with our favorite dentist, you can read all about that here.  Then over the weekend we went home to visit with my favorite people.  Some were missing – I love you Lori and I miss you! – but I did get to spend hours with the ones that were able to make it.  It soothes my soul.  It has also given me a much greater appreciation for the time I do get to spend with them.

We ate DELICIOUS food, that I took not one single photo of.  My Aunt Mary Jane made her unbeatable green beans, my Aunt Anita made her delicious soup beans, Amy fried fresh fish and chicken, which was amazing.  Weird family fact:  Amy is actually my Aunt by marriage.  It’s weird because her husband is Thomas, who is younger than me, but still my Uncle.  Do you have an amazing family like me?  I love them all to the moon and back.

We had so much more food that I couldn’t possible list it all, just know:  It was incredible and I wish I had some more right now.

Here is what else we ate last week in no particular order:

Hot dogs with chili, coleslaw and chips.

Roast with potatoes, carrots & onions, with green beans and cornbread.

My easy Velvety spaghetti, Alfredo, and garlic bread.

Leftover roast sandwiches with chips and pickles.  One of my favorites.

Here is a bonus photo.  Liv just about froze to death according to her.  She is sitting right in front of the firepit, but still needed a blanket with her winter coat.

BTW:  if anyone has a clue about WordPress, I will take any help you can give me.  They are “adjusting” my photos for me again from my iPhone and turning them.  No matter which plugin I use they will not turn back again.  Thanks in advance!

The rest of the week was leftovers.

What did you eat last week?  What are you going to eat this week?  Inquiring minds need to know!
